Aron Das Gupta read corporate law and intellectual property law at Leiden University. He was admitted to the Amsterdam bar in 2000. Aron specialises in commercial law, intellectual property law and litigation. Aron’s practice has a strong international focus and consists mainly of advising and litigating on commercial matters. Before (co)founding Laedas advocaten in 2025, he was a partner at two internationally oriented full service law firms. Besides his work at Laedas advocaten, Aron works closely with Franssen Tolboom advocaten, to which firm he acts as civil law & litigation (of-)counsel.

Besides his practice, Aron lectured for many years civil procedural law in the professional vocational programme of the Netherlands Bar Association (NOvA), at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (Hogeschool van Amsterdam) and acted as a judge in the moot court course at Leiden University.
